This was taken from Route 9W northbound near Cornwall, New York. The view eastward is typically the Hudson River, and you can make it out just under the clouds. For some reason the cloud was very low that day, creating a remarkable visual effect. Ossining Stone Home

This home was built by a judge in the 1920′s with boulders from the banks of the Hudson River. It is one of my very favorite houses. I sold it to the current owner and it is back on the market. Email me if you’re interested-he’ll hold the mortgage!   -J. Philip Faranda
